to believe is to see!

The gospel this sunday speaks about Thomas' faith to the risen Jesus. A week after he rose from the dead, he appeared to his disciples but before that Thomas did not believe that Jesus has risen because he was not there to witness the event. He was just convinced when Jesus himself appeared infront of him.

Today, people will only believe you if you have done something. Like in the upcoming national and local election, we are blinded with the things that these politicians have done for us. Of course! They have to do those things because they are elected by the people and we expect them to do things for us, for the common good of the people and for the betterment of the masses life!

As May 10 is fast approaching, we are bombarded with promises. But the only promise that matters is the promise made by God. As follows of The Father we must discern on who to vote not just considering our personal benefit but we must take into consideration the future of the next generation. Filipinos are tired of hearing graft and corruption practices. We want change and we want it now. We must be very careful of who's name we'll shade and who deserve our priceless votes. We may have been blinded before but on this coming election we must stand up and prove them we have learned from the past and we are now educated that we will only vote for the best.

Friday was the official start of my summer. We went to a private island vacation house. The scenery was spectacular and I just can't imagine something like that existed. The view of the sunset was something to look forward to but the sea, sky and birds were to die for.

There was no electricity at the main house where we were staying but a solar powered lights and fridge was available. The beach was clear and you can even see fishes swimming beside you! I indulged myself under the heat of the sun trying to get that "tan" color but ended up looking flushed. Well, tan was not really for me but at least I knew I have that espaƱol blood in me. hehehe..

We only stayed there for a night but the experience was undeniably fun and will always be remembered. I hope I will be invited soon and got to live the memories again.

For now, I'm waiting for another vacation confirmation. Fingers crossed for this one since it's kinda complicated. I really love going to places and just having some quiet time with nature. Until then, Good night! :)

newbie

It's 2:05 AM and I'm obviously still up this late. Blog is not a new word to me, I've heard it a lot that's why it doesn't sound too appealing anymore. And to be honest, I don't really like writing. Talking was my game and conversing is my middle name. Sharing my thoughts through writing was not me. I like speaking my mind out, literally speaking in that sense. I do have those hand gestures that comes with talking. The facial expressions were automatic as words came out my mouth. It's like riding in the same jeepney for quite sometime that even the horn is so familiar for missing a ride.
So, here I am, trying to write. Maybe I'll get tired after this entry or maybe I'll love this blogging stuff. All I know is as of now I want to write about anything. Facebook is for playing FarmVille and long "chatbox" as Blogspot is for "thought writing".
I'm sleepy and I should go to my room now. Good MorNight! :)
